Colema therapies session
Most of us interchangeably understood theses three forms of hydrotherapy: enema colema and hydrotherapy. When we say hydro, we mean water. The three are characterized by water therapy. These three procedures use water in cleansing the colon, so that makes it even harder to understand the difference of the three. In colon hydrotherapy the time of session is 40 minutes, the water administered into our colon is 40 ounces to 70 ounces which only reaches about ¼ of our large intestine. Enema is administered with a bag and cleanses only dirt from the rectum. Both colon hydrotherapy and enema, the water enters our colon through water pressure. Colema is administered with apparatus which include five gallons of water, a colema board that has opening and protecting shield at the end. The mouth of the board is place on top of the toilet bowl; the other end is supported with a chair to make it balance. The patient would lie at their back and the buttock is placed near the mouth of the toilet bowl. The water enters on the large intestine through gravity and not by pressure as colon hydrotherapy and enema does.
The colema set up is similar to that of open basin of colon hydrotherapy the only difference is that in Colema, plumbing of water is not necessary. The water temperature should be closed to our body temperature. The water is flowing incessantly in and out of our colon, and it takes out dirt of up to half of our colon. Remember our colon is 20 feet long so imagine how many wastes it would take out. In colema it is best to only use purified water not a variety of it just like in enema where you can have coffee and sun flower etc. though other professionals uses some variety but they are licensed to do the procedure, if you are not so stick with purified water. When having a colema session, one should do the abdominal breathing technique and abdominal massage to help in cleansing the colon.
If you are most likely to have intestinal spasm, take a little warm water and a gentle abdominal massage. Remember that Colema is administered in an empty stomach this is to avoid intestinal spasm. During its first four days the patient who undergo colema should only take in liquid diet. And on the fifth day to seventh day, the patient can now gradually take in semisolid foods like porridge. The colema procedure should last up to seven days session and everyday would take up to 45 minutes.
Colema, like hydrotherapy and enema can also be administered by an individual alone but, it is not advisable and definitely discouraged. Since administering a colema is quite confusing and incorrect procedure may lead to a more confusion. Licensed hydro therapists and medical practitioners are the only person who should administer colema this is to avoid doing an incorrect procedure and the misuse or abuse of doing the colema procedure. Among the three hydro procedures, Colema cleanse thoroughly the intestine as it reaches almost half of our intestine and it does not alter the natural movement of the intestinal wall. It is noted that patients who used colema are satisfied after completing the seven sessions of colema colon treatment.
